Officers
The Middle East Federation of Medical Physicist (MEFOMP) Past President, Dr. Meshari AlNuaimi (2022-2025) handed over the office to the new MEFOMP President Dr. Mohammad Hassan Kharita (2025-2028) at Kuwait City during the MEFOMP 2025 Conference on 10th of February 2025. The new MEFOMP Executive Council Board attended this meeting in person:
1. President: Dr. Mohammad Hassan Kharita - Qatar
2. Vice President: Dr. Rabih Hammoud – Lebanon
3. Past President: Dr. Meshari AlNuaimi Kuwait
4. Secretary-General: Mr. Refaat Almazrou – KSA
5. Treasurer: Dr. Zakiya Al Rahbi – Oman
6. Education and Training Committee Chair: Dr. Riad Shweikani – Syria
7. Awards and Honors Committee Chair: Mr. Mohamed Tahlak – UAE
8. Science Committee Chair: Dr. Mustafa Al-Musawi – Iraq
9. Professional Relations Committee Chair: Dr. Sheaka Alobaidli – Kuwait
10. Media Committee Chair: Mr. Faisal Shenawy – Kuwait
The meeting focused on the handover from previous to the current ExCom. The Past President Dr. Meshari AlNuaimi wished the new MEFOMP Executive Council all the best for their term 2025-2028. He also praised the new members for their competence and strong capabilities.
Dr. Mohammad Hassan Kharita, President of the MEFOMP mentioned in his speech that he is very grateful to the trust given by all the members especially Dr. Meshari and for all the work, guidance and tireless efforts that have set a high standard, making it challenging for future leaders to follow in the footstep in achieving and establishing the strong base of MEFOMP.
