At the outset I would like to thank you for your excellent efforts in advancing medical physics practice locally and regionally.
We are excited to announce that the MEFOMP Officers and Chairs positions for the term 2025-2028 are now open for nominations. This is a wonderful opportunity to shape the future of our field, and we warmly invite nominations from national organizations and individuals for any of the available posts, unless otherwise indicated.
Nominating organization/person must send the following information to me by 11th of December 2024 (23:59 Makkah time) using blow attached nomination form, together with:
- Biographical details (maximum 2 pages) and
- A personal statement (maximum 1 page) by the nominee.
Your participation is crucial, and we would be immensely grateful if you could share this email with your colleagues and local medical physics society to ensure we reach all potential candidates.
We are also pleased to inform you that the election process will be overseen by esteemed international experts Dr. John Damilakis, IOMP President and Dr. M. Mahesh President of AAPM. They will serve as election judges to ensure utmost transparency and integrity.
Eligible members will have two weeks to cast their votes remotely via e-voting procedure, from 11 to 21 December 2024. The election results will be posted on MEFOMP website www.mefomp.com
The elected MEFOMP Officers and Chairs will assume office at the conclusion of the MEFOMP council meeting to be held during the MEFOMP Medical Physics Conference 2025 in Kuwait, 7- 10 February 2025.
The detailed instructions on the voting procedure will be sent exclusively to eligible MEFOMP Council members in good standing.
