“Honoring a Pioneer of Medical Physics: Dr Huda AlNaemi Award Inspires a New Generation of Researchers"

After a long career in medical physics, Qatari scientist Huda AlNaemi decided to devote her time to literary writing, but her colleagues at the Middle East Federation of Medical Physics decided to immortalize her name by dedicating an annual award for the best scientific research in this field. At the MEFOMP Medical Physics Conference 2025 Conference on Medical Physics in Kuwait, the award was presented to two girls from the region, in honor of their contributions to this field, and to encourage the new generation to continue the path of excellence in medical physics. Al-Naimi expressed her happiness at being honored, and thanked all those in charge of the conference for their efforts in supporting this vital specialty.
  "I'm a physicist... I spent a lifetime studying medical physics, and I study it .. I worked for years with the medical institution in Qatar in order to give radiation physics in the field of medicine, its right of focus, and attention within governmental and private medical institutions, until - selectively - this path put an end point, and left it to others to complete the way, and emptied an old love He is a literary writing, and I still watch closely, but these colleagues with whom I have worked for years on local, regional, and international projects, they wanted my name to remain in the history of medical physics in the region and the world, so I decided to dedicate an award in the name of Huda Al-Naeimi Applied by the Middle East Federation of Medical Physics, and the first prize bearing my name was presented two years ago at the international conference in the Sultanate of Oman, and today .. And under the sky of the beloved Kuwait, the second international conference is held over three days, and for the second time, the prize bearing my name is presented for the scientific research, which is won after being presented to a panel of judges of the two countries, and they are the ones who selected two researches for two girls from the region to receive the prize, both of them will be the beginning of a new generation A march that started years ago for the revival of this specialty completes, and today I had the honor of handing over the two winners of the Huda Al-Naeemi prize at the end of a conference that was organized with great craftsmanship, care and attention.
