The Syrian Medical Physics Association (SyMPA) was established in 2009. The Official status of the SyMPA in not yet granted, however, the association has done a lot of work. The most notable achievement is the establishment of Master Degree in Medical Physics in collaboration with the Atomic energy Commission of Syria and Damascus University in 2013.
