Speaker Prof.Mahesh, MS, PhD, is a professor of Radiology and Cardiology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (Baltimore, Md). His research interests are CT, interventional-fluoroscopy, and digital mammography. Dr Mahesh has published more than 150 peer-reviewed publications and given more than 150 international talks and several grand rounds. Dr Mahesh is the author of the textbook titled ‘MDCT Physics: The Basics – Technology, Image Quality and Radiation Dose’ (translated in Japanese language also) Dr Mahesh is a fellow of AAPM (2007), ACR (2009), ACMP (2011), Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) (2011) and International Organization of Medical Physics (IOMP) (2019). Dr Mahesh is an elected member of National Council of Radiation Protection and Measurements and the International Commission on Radiation Protection. He is the president-elect for the American Association of Physicists in Medicine. In this webinair he will explore the vital role AI plays in the medical physics field and how MPs can stay ahead by embracing this cutting - edge technology.
